October 2007 - Simtec Global becomes Authorized Cisco Partner
Simtec has formed a strategic partnership with Cisco Systems.  This partnership allows us to design solutions that leverage Cisco's future product development and deployment strategies.  It also enables Simtec to provide reselling services for all Cisco equipment at competitive prices.

September 2007 - Northrop Grumman Teaming
Simtec Global has teamed with Northrop Grumman on Eagle Contract services to civilian federal agencies for network, systems, and communications infrastructure architecture and design.

August 2007 - Cabling Design for Washington, DC Ball Park
Simtec Global has won a one year contract to design cable distribution systems, equipment racks, closets, and general communications infrastructure for the new Washington, DC ballpark.

2006

October 2006 - Simtec Global wins contract at United States Patent and Trademark Office
Simtec Global has been selected to provide Network and Security Architecture and engineering services to the US Patent and Trade office's Trilateral Partnership Network.  Simtec Global is helping the USPTO provide secure network connectivity supporting collaboration initiatives on a global level.

August 15, 2006 - Simtec Global selected to Chair American Red Cross IT and Public Safety Committee
Simtec Global has been selected to chair the Information Technology and Public Safety Communications Advisory committee to the American Red Cross National Capitol Area Chapter for FY '07.  Simtec Global also has been selected to facilitate RFPs for the new Red Cross Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Fairfax, VA.  Simtec is coordinating the procurement of generators, mobile trailers, EOC automation, IT systems, cabling, modular furniture, and construction work for the Red Cross to obtain operational capacity in 1st quarter FY '07.

July 2006 - Simtec Global announces that it will open up an office in Sydney, Australia in Q4 of FY06
Simtec Global has extensive working relationships with Australian Department of Defence, banking, and telecommunications industries. Simtec Global provides engineering and architecture for these industries and can provide a valuable partnership and conduit for companies looking to do business in Australia.

May 2006 - Simtec Global wins a five year, $20 million port security contract
Sea Away Research Laboratories, LLC announces Simtec Global as the systems integrator of choice for its SeaAway Sea Sentinel System, SeaAway Sea Handler, and SeaAway Advanced Deep Water Buoy System. The systems are a comprehensive commercial effort to provide port security worldwide. Simtec Global will be developing RFID scanning systems, IT infrastructure, applications development, and operations and maintenance services, including the buildout of a hosting center and command & control center.

April 2006 - Simtec Global is a member of the IPv6 Forum and Mid-Atlantic IPv6 Task Force
Simtec Global is at the forefront of IPv6 technology and on ways to integrate IPv6 into enterprise environments.

CRI, Inc. a woman owned 8(a) firm has chosen Simtec Global, LLC as provider of high-value engineering and architecture consultant, IT infrastructure development services and staff augmentation.

2005

December 2005 - Simtec International rebranded as Simtec Global, LLC
Simtec Global, LLC formally Simtec International, LLC has officially changed its name on December 29, 2005 with the acquisition of the simtecglobal.com domain name. Simtec Global will continue to provide the top quality engineering and consultancy services that has been the tradition of Simtec International since 1998. October 2005 - Simtec is selected to provide consulting services to the Commonwealth of Virginia on public safety communications interoperability
Since October 2005, Simtec Global has provided both paid for and volunteer technical consulting on 800 MHz rebanding, 700 MHz frequency refarming, and grant related communications interoperability advice to local, State and Regional organizations. Simtec Global is a member of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officers and provides public safety consulting services nationwide.

July 2005 - Simtec Global is awarded a 3 year, $500,000 contract with Meridian Services, Inc.
Meridian Services, Inc. announces Simtec Global as the provider of communications infrastructure services to Meridian customers in the Washington D.C. metro area. Work entails the planning and design of robust and cost effective cabling plants, neutral hosts, cellular transmitter services, secure WiFi services, WiFi hotspots, AV and cable TV solutions, video conferencing equipment, customized conference room systems, remote access solutions, PBX’s, VoIP solutions, and Telco and ISP evaluations. Clients include Trammell Crow and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
